Look, we started Honest Insights because we were sitting around complaining about all the nonsense in gaming content. Everyone's selling something. Everyone's got an angle. We thought: what if we just... didn't? What if we actually told people what we think instead of chasing clout? Fast forward past a lot of coffee and arguments about competitive meta, and here we're. We cover esports the way we'd want someone to cover esports — raw, real, and without the corporate fluff. Our team genuinely loves this stuff. The wins, the fails, the drama, the innovation. All of it. We're not trying to be your favorite content creators. We're trying to be the ones you trust.

Our Story
Started in 2019 when four friends realized they spent more time debating esports over Discord than actually playing. The arguments were too good to keep private. So we launched a tiny YouTube channel, mostly for ourselves. Turns out other people wanted actual analysis instead of clickbait hot takes. Our first 50 subscribers came from gaming subreddits where people were tired of the same talking points. We've grown weird and organic ever since—never chasing trends, always pushing deeper. Last year we hit 47,000 followers across platforms. Still the same philosophy though.
